Roof gardens.

I’m currently sitting in our loft room at 7.55pm hoping to catch a glimpse of the Red Arrows as they fly across the opposite side of Sutton Park. They are coming south from Lichfield which is due North as I look out through the window. The Park is on the left as I sit here. We should at least hear them if nothing else.
They are en route to fly over the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games which begin here this evening.
It is televised here on BBC1.
I won’t comment on the cost nor the “Commonwealth”.
However watching the pride in the athletes who are proud to be “Brummie” is moving. Hearing their stories and backgrounds.
Well back to watching the skies! ….
