Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Wednesday July 27
Roger and I had a great day out today, visiting Yorkshire Sculpture Park, which I have been wanting to visit for a while. The forecast suggested it would at least be a dry day, and in fact it turned into quite a nice pleasant afternoon with sunny intervals. The drive up there was beautiful too. The sculpture park occupies the 500 acre parkland of Breton Hall, an18th century estate near Wakefield. It’s a beautiful park to walk around, even without the sculpture, majestic old trees and wonderful views over the surrounding hills.
