Marjorie's ramblings

Seeds and berries

This afternoon, I went to The Sill (the National Landscape Discovery Centre) on Hadrian's Wall. There is an exhibition of The Lost Spells, a book by Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris. We have the book and the previous one, Lost Words. Both are exquisite and a joy, especially Lost Words.

I enjoyed the paintings and hearing some of the soundscapes.

Outside the building there was a large area where wild carrot is growing. I could not resist one of the seed heads for my blip. Nearby, there were Guelder Rose bushes and I was delighted by the bright, shiny berries (see extra).

Otherwise, I've been very tired again. Only 36 hours now to the first B12 injection. I have high hopes!!
