Silene schafta

It was either this little flower or a picture of nearly finished greenhouse benches.   These were my main task today, one now completely finished, the other just needing squaring up and all the nuts and bolts tightening.  Barring disasters it'll all be done by lunchtime tomorrow.

I did make a few phone calls for Ruth, discovering that the transfer of all her medical notes has been fouled up by the chronic state of the services where she used to live.   I have more phone calls to make tomorrow, one to check that her old GP practice have now done what they should have done in March and the other to try and retrieve details that have been sent to the wrong hub  ....  because a department that were informed of her new address and GP failed to update it correctly.   The hub now holding the info have a single phone line that is either engaged or cuts me off after 30 seconds.   Grrr!

The silene, snapped as the sun began to dip in the west, is related among other things, to the ubiquitous native wild flower, Pink Campion.  A cool of the evening run for Meg before a hot chocolate with Jane and John ended a largely satisfying day well.
