Butterfly

We spent a large part of the day at Dunster Castle, the National Trust property near Minehead.  An interesting house to visit plus extensive and attractive grounds.  Fortunately there was plenty of shade in the gardens so we were able to keep out of the direct, hot sun.

In the heat I could only be bothered to carry my little micro-four-thirds Panasonic, but I was  pleasantly surprised at how well it captured this butterfly on the lavender in the "Dream Garden" at the edge of the site.  As usual I rely on other blippers to identify the insect.
