"Me! Me! Pick me."

After we finish crabbing, we throw the leftover bait to the birds; they get very excited. It is fun seeing the birds pleading for a bit of the bait.

The family weekend has been fantastic...the grandchildren are not children anymore, but childhood memories of growing up fishing and crabbing were shared and enjoyed. The oldest grandson said he wanted to continue the experiences of being on a boat in the future; he wants his children to have some of the same memories he has had with us. He is anxious to find a nice girl to love and cherish; he recently broke it off with a girl who said she wasn't ready to be in a long-term relationship; he is seriously ready to settle down in a forever relationship. A is a handsome 25-year-old young man I love deeply; I hope he finds his forever person, but I hope he continues to enjoy his single days and not be in a rush to move into the responsibilities of marriage and children.

Life is good...just as it is today.
