Drought

This is our friends' dog surveying the lawns at the local park.  We hadn't visited for a couple of weeks, and I was surprised at just how bare the ground had become and how low the water was in the lake,.

However, we had our first rain shower this evening, just after we had finished eating our dinner outside on the patio.  We were almost tempted to stay sitting outside and enjoy the feeling of fresh rain falling on us.
