Somewhere ....

An odd kind of day as I couldn't go anywhere, waiting for my delivery.  I spent the day thinking it was Saturday as I did my 'Saturday chores'.  Very discombobulating.  I did go and feed Alfie.  And I also caught the rainbow.  It wasn't till I looked at it on the laptop that I realised it was a double.

The delivery, my new furniture ordered in February, arrived early.  Amazing looking at the guys manoeuvre the old suite out and the new one in.  I then spent some time moving the chairs around to get the 'right' look.  Because it is leather the room is a not more echoey.

The sun was out so I sat outside till the clouds returned when I delved into Scotlandspeople.  That is always a rabbit hole and I almost forgot to get ready to go out.

There was another deluge, that I missed, and then met E to head to 'Hamlet'.  WE got lost in the New Town!  My fault, I went right instead of left, well I am a Southsider after all.

There was some herding before we got into the venue and I ended up sitting behind a very high woman so view was slightly obscured.  It has had mixed reviews and our review was mixed. Sound could have been better and I'm not sure it wasn't a bit pretentious.  But it was a Festival experience that in later years we can say 'we were there'.

We hiked up to George Street and had very lovely tapas in Cafe Andaluz and swapped m-in-l tales.  The things they don't tell you in the maternity ward.

And on a personal note the drugs appeared to have worked.  Still a wee cough but it is not the same as before.  I think I am cured!
