Morning rain.

A nice leisurely breakfast and a read before driving off to Coalsnaughton to meet Margaret and Linda for lunch at Muircot farm shop.  As usual we sat for  ages chatting about everything under the sun. I was happy to find I could sit for a couple of hours OK.  I feel I'm almost back to normal at last.  It's been another autumnal day with low cloud on the Ochils and some heavy rain on the way home.  I stopped at Lochend farm shop for some Stornoway black pudding and a jar of plum jam and was back in time to take delivery of two of the fleeces I ordered yesterday.  The colours are good and they are roomy enough for layering so I'm pleased. Spent the rest of the afternoon lazing about reading and ignoring the chores I meant to do.  Hopefully I'll catch up tomorrow.
