Gardening Day

A day in the garden today, cutting back, emptying pots and generally tidying it up to make it easier for my neighbours. The hanging baskets were all but over due to the hot weather, so they were emptied and the fuchsia re-potted, so less to water. 
Lots of washing and cleaning too, in preparation for our next trip away on Friday. 

A few shots to choose from today from the garden, mostly involving bees. This grab of the echinacea was my favourite and the favourite of the bees too. The echinacea has been more of a success than I expected at the start of the season and produced a few flowers which I really like. I hope it survives the winter.
