Neither a Kingfisher nor a Hobby, but...

If the sky looks a bit odd it's because it's the river...

After a fine lunch with Greg and Cathy, we went for a walk around Saltford and down to the river. 

As we arrived at the river there was a flash of vibrant blue as a kingfisher captured it's own lunch and retreated out of sight. We made do with a couple of Common Hawkers fighting over territory. 

Satisfied, we released out cameras just as a hobby falcon flew across the river! Ah well... one out of three ain't bad? Do check them both out in "Large", as I wanted to give them some space to fly...
