Not Much to Say about Today

I do think that I've reached the tipping point with the head cold though. I actually had a little bit of energy this afternoon and cleaned up my office.

I wandered around the garden this morning and found some lovely plants. The zucchini, which I planted really late (7/15) is actually doing really well and there are a couple of small squash coming along. The irrigation had watered it this morning, so this blossom is looking very lush and sparkly.

The extra is a Mirabilis jalapa or 'Four O'Clock' blossom, blooming at mid-morning. Perhaps it stops blooming at 4:00 o'clock. At any rate, it is pretty and I have no idea where it came from...but it comes back every year. And there's a little visitor of sorts!
