The Edge of the Wold

By gladders

A morning stroll

At last a change of subject from Highland cows and Gus. There is often a carrion crow hanging around amongst the cattle, though it's rare for me to get close enough to get a shot. This one was crow-stepping up the grassy slope with great purpose.

It was a lovely day, though I spent too much of it in an hotel conference suite in Preston.

Evening therapy was a walk over the Knott with Gus and Wifie.

Thank you again for stars and hearts for last night's blip. I think that is my favourite shot of the Highlands.

A year ago: a sunset lamb.
