The Cobb

A much better day than forecast, though we did have to dodge a couple of showers. It was quite windy, too windy (and slippery) for us to risk walking along the top level of the Cobb. I was surprised to see so many children and dogs up there. Maybe we are just getting wimpish and over anxious in our old age. I got soaked yesterday though trying to take a similar shot to this. My camera too, though it seems to have survived.

In the extras - some more deckchairs (à la Brighton) and Mary Anning, allegedly the world's most famous fossilist. Apparently her dog Tray was killed by a landslide when they were collecting fossils. We had a good look along the beach but couldn't find any.

Sorry about the lack of comments at the moment.

We just read that this café has closed without warning, not sure why but maybe a sign of the times?
