Travel Day

Today we made our way over from Geneva to Lake Como via Zurich. Approximately five and a half hours on the train, including a very straightforward change at Zurich. Both trains were on time, and both were very nice trains.

Lots of interesting views along the way. Not just Lakes Geneva and Zurich, but many other lake views and as we approached the Alps, mountain views as well.

We were fortunate to have somebody picking us up at Como station, so the journey over to Lenno was very smooth as well.

The weather was fine all the way, and sunny in Lenno as well. Down to the pizzeria for dinner.

Between Zurich and Como we passed through the San Gottard railway tunnel. The longest railway tunnel in the world (see extra). No views while we were in the tunnel though!
