Bark

I am fascinated by tree trunks and bark. They provide an endless source of patterns, textures, colours and discovery.
To market this morning for fish, cheese and a few other essentials. This afternoon there have been a series of heavy downpours. I am pleased that the roofers are coming on Monday to replace the flat roof and improve the guttering. Hopefully it will stop the leaks but the increasing frequency of heavy rain storms are causing problems as the soak-away land drains cannot cope with the amount of water coming from the sky in short periods of time.
