Monthly climbing day for Burton Skyline MC and there was a good turnout. New attendee Jake, an already competent belayer from indoor climbing, seconded several routes and then did his first lead, a gentle slab with plenty of opportunities to practice gear placement. Here an experienced member views from the top, and Fi and I offered help too. Well done to him, and he's joining the club!
