Not much of a blip

More of a record of some of the preserving I’ve done this season. Here is around 12 litres of apple juice from our old tree. The apples produce a wonderful sweet, pink juice. Hard work but worth it come the winter. This is probably the most I’ve ever made. The pink is already frozen, the others are about to go in the freezer.

Full on today as we travel up to York in the morning for three days then on to the Lakes on Saturday for a week. We’re going to a wake for a cousin who died in lockdown on Saturday afternoon. It’ll be good to meet up with cousins who we rarely see nowadays even in these circumstances.

On the other days we plan to walk along the Cleveland Way between Ravenscar and Robin Hood’s Bay and we’re booked tickets for the NYMR Autumn Gala on Friday.
