Last Light at Wear Farm

I was on my way out this evening and cursed under my breath because there was a beautiful sunset and I had no time to go anywhere. I pulled in to a bus stop, grabbed the camera and pointed it at the sunset. I didn't think it was the best place but I actually quite like the textures of the retaining wall against the bright colours of the sky. One shot job done!

It's the Wide on Wednesday challenge (hosted by steveng - thanks Steven) and the topic is 'Portrait Mode - Wide Made Tall'. I don't suppose I'd normally have turned the camera on it's side for this shot but it's worked well and I must do it more often.
