Creels at The Gyles

A big pile of lobster and crab creels on the pier at a corner of the harbour known as The Gyles.

We had a walk around town this morning after the rain stopped. It was mild with very little wind. We watched a crane winching out part of the net winding mechanism from a prawn boat.
Then when we got up to the West Braes we sat in the shelter and watched the shags on the Sandycraig Rock, and the seals bobbing around in the water. They will be off to the Isle of May to breed next month.
This evening I’m off out to Crail Folk Club to enjoy an evening with Martin Simpson.

Extra: Mr Bean on a visit to the harbour.
