PEACE AT LAST

Tino was a pest today.  Yowling around the place and being a proper fusspot.  Maybe he was annoyed at something outdoors - a passing cat perhaps or a pigeon that dared to sit on top of the enclosure ( he hates that ).  Or just wanting attention - even though he gets plenty of that. I didn't figure out what was wrong and he just kept wandering around yowling and wouldn't settle.  He sometimes checked the food bowls and cried some more.  There was plenty  to eat so I resisted giving him more.  In the end though I did give in and opened a tin of his favourite.  He gave it a sniff and walked off.  Typical. Later on when I put the heating on he settled down on his radiator bed and all was quiet. Since then he's been fine. 

I haven't done much today except some ironing and catching up with TV programmes.  Weather has been dark and dull all day. 

Neil completed the London Marathon in a time of 3hrs 21 mins,  He found the going tough and was disappointed in his time as he wanted to be nearer to 3hrs.  I think he did very well -  out of 40,000 entrants he finished in 4,268th place overall and 1,648th in his age group.  He went to the pub for a well deserved beer afterwards.... see Extra.
