More Forget-me-nots

The garden is bursting into life. Gorgeous!
Although Mr K has been hard at work this afternoon with the mower and strimmer so the dandelions and nettles are toast!
We had a fab day today with our friends Mrs Z, Mr K and their lovely children. It's been ages since we've seen them and it was really good to spend time with them.
We went early and had lots of chatting and playing, some bouncy castle action in the garden, mud pie making, a scrummy lunch of baguettes, pate, cheese and olives. We would have had salami too but the greedy kids ate it all!!!
Then I spent 107 minutes watching Watford come agonisingly close to automatic promotion to the Premier League. Bloody Leeds.
Then I hot-footed it back to Buckingham with Miss E for a school birthday party. Fun as usual - lovely kids, lovely parents, a nice cup of tea, a party bag and a balloon. What's not to love?!!
Home to roast lamb and mash and feet up on the sofa.
