Generosity Auction

Today's been a full day, collecting and doing homeless washing, plus Danny's uni friends have arrived for the weekend to celebrate their 20 years of knowing each other, lots of bits and bobs. Then this evening Emma came over for tea and to make a blanket. Each year at the 24-7 Prayer gathering there's a 'generosity auction'. There's always a theme (this year blankets) and people create something then then gets auctioned off for a ridiculous amount and the money's given to different projects within the charity...this year part of the money will come to us for our project! Emma had the brilliant idea of creating a blanket out of these old unused 24-7 ibiza t-shirts...we'll be backing it onto an sunset colours cloth. We got so into it and nattered so late she missed the last bus! So she's sat in bed next to me and will get the bus home in the morning. Just as well Danny's staying at the hotel with the boys!! 

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny and the lads doing a few things to help out - going and buying sleeping bags, moving stuff to the centre etc...
2) Seeing the lads again - I've such a soft spot for each of them!
3) The fun of creating this blanket.
