The Forth Bridge....

....in the mist and rain... in infrared.

My intention was to go mushroom hunting in the woods - in the rain.
But then the rain started.

After breakfast SWMBO was needing to get out as she was feeling rather down due to a scam company removing cash from our account. The bank's fraud unit has told us it is being repaid to our account, but she feels really down about 'taking her eye off the ball' (her words not mine).
So we headed to South Queensferry for a walk.
It was pouring with rain, but the fog was still hanging about and doing its best to hide the bridges and it was remarkably mild.
We didn't walk far and before leaving we stopped off for a coffee and cake at The Honey Pot - a great place that does all sorts of craft classes (I learnt how to make books with leather covers there).

I took several pictures of the rail bridge (we couldn't see the other two) ... and the rather interesting tree stump and the wall (above).
The last picture I took was of the arboreal tunnel at Dalmeny on the way home.

After getting home I played about with the pictures and converted some of them to black and white and others to 'false colour' by swapping the colour channels in Photoshop. Some of the results are posted between the 1st and 3rd links.
