The Cat In The Hat

SWMBO wanted another walk this morning, so off we went.
Nowhere as exotic as South Queensferry this time - just a roundabout route to Bags' house...things had to be confirmed.
Of course, as soon as we arrived Squirrel stole my hat. She is like her mother - hats suit her.

So, it has been confirmed that we will be going to some school assembly that Squirrel is participating in tomorrow and Bags is wishing to join us on a distillery tour in December. It is a rum distillery along the road where Bags name is well known (a bit worrying as she has never been there).

I had taken the camera fitted with the macro lens in the hope of finding some mushrooms/fungi and we saw not a one. I was sorely disappointed. However, there were some pretty colourful Clematis still in flower as well as some pale Fuchsia and some lovely spotty leaves (well, I thought they were lovely, SWMBO wasn't so convinced, she kept referring back to the 'fall' colours in Maine and Canada).
We also came across Charlie Brown's kite eating tree which made us laugh.

6 shots are over Here.
