Phlegmatic

After a morning of cleaning out gutters and downpipes, removing generations of rotting vegetation, and having had two days up to my neck in other people's digestive products, my wife thought it would be nice to treat me to a nice refreshing and wholesome glass of....

Oh the irony...

We found a fabulous place today for woodland walks, especially for autumnal hikes in an ancient deer forest.

Mortimer Forest, near Ludlow.

2000 hectares of fantastic woodland, once owned by the notable Mortimer family and now being managed by The Forestry Commission, it is brilliant.

We stayed a while, walked and chatted with other dog walkers.

A thoroughly enjoyable interlude before doing a small shop at Aldi and home for tea and cake.

The extra shows a plantation of conifer trees, I was well impressed with how straight they were.
