A dreich day

I was up to date responding to your lovely comments and checking in on blippers, but I’m behind again after a hectic week and weekend.

This is a late posting.

Mr MacD went off to the Maritime Museum after we returned from the Parnell Farmer’s Market.  I did household chores and some work.  We had coffee together after Mr MacD returned.

It rained on and off this morning, but got worse as the day wore on, then magically stopped when we caught the bus into the city to go to the ASB Waterfront Theatre to see the Alfred Hitchcock play North by Northwest. What a wonderful, creative production it was. The tech work-arounds for cars, planes, trains, Mt Rushmore, etc., were ingenious.  A thoroughly enjoyable evening, even though we didn’t get home until after 11:30pm and need to be up by 4:45am in the morning.

Today’s blip is of two decorative carvings at the back of the Park Hyatt Hotel, the stage/set at the ASB Waterfront Theatre, lights on a walkway between staircases in the theatre, and the promo picture for the play.
