Lost in Space #2

Once again, it’s a case of dashing out to catch some fleeting rays of sun today, but at least the abundance of rain leaves a garden full of glittering droplets.  I spot a rather ramshackle spider’s web sparking amongst one of our conifers, and use a little editing to transform it into today’s abstract blip (better large if you have time).

I’ve had the results of last week’s blood tests which were looking for a rare disorder - Chronic Granulomatous Disease. Once again the results are negative - much as the immunologist expected as it’s more usually found in young boys! While it’s always good to know you don’t have a particular disease, it is incredibly frustrating to have no diagnosis, as without this nobody knows how to treat my symptoms!

Tomorrow there is yet another test - a nuclear bone scan - to look for yet another bizarre disorder! Each time I see a new consultant, they get excited thinking they have found the answer; they send me off for new tests only to lose interest once their theory is disproved!
