Loaded Seed Head

A gentle rain overnight, while having breakfast I saw this seed head out the window loaded with droplets.  Taken through the window, blip done before I had finished my wheetbix !!

I've been a domestic goddess today - cleaned the silver, vacumed, dusted and filled a vase with peonies. I made a Walnut & Peach Torte yesterday, this morning I filled with cream and decorated.  I've a platter of goodies prepared as well.
And why, well I'm having the Book Club ladies this evening, its the first time this year (and probably last year) that we've met in a home, so making it an ocassion of sorts.
