Larch Cottage Nurseries Melkinthorpe

What a day!  We began in the studio with a couple of blippers, one gaining expertise in flower photography and the other playing with studio lights.  Kanyl was the model, not exactly everyone's image of a photographic model but no lenses shattered.  I played general dogsbody, holding reflectors, moving lights, making drinks, in fact, anything that needed doing.  

Kanyl wanted a shot of him looking like a famous author he has read a lot so this provided a useful project, to begin with.  The whole session was laughs from start to finish.  The result was brilliant.

When we finished there was still time so we opted for a visit to "Melki", as always we began with coffee and cake.  Then a wander round the garden, as Peter runs a nursery most of the plants have been grown a couple of fields over from the retail area.  The result is you only get in flower the things that should be flowering in this area at the time.  So not much at the moment.  I decided on this view of the gardens which I don't think I have blipped before.
