Snow on the high tops!

Well we woke up to a sunny morning which has kept up all day, clouds permitting!

We made a necessary visit to the supermarket in Aviemore from where we could see snow on the tops under a wonderful sky. We lunched back at the lodge - the one on the extreme right beyond our car - before setting off for a walk through the pine woods into Nethy Bridge village where we enjoyed  afternoon tea or coffee and home made cakes!

We walked back by a slightly longer route through the woods, crossing the River Nethy by a footbridge half a mile upstream. A good first day!
