Birthday lunch

Up early (ish) to make soup, chicken casserole (slow cooker), check wm size, soak a bare root rose, try to sort choir stuff (laptop is definitely playing up), load the new back up software and fail to pair TRV.

Then to Roslin with Mum for D's birthday lunch. He's 7 weeks older than me. It was a jolly party 9 adults and 4 children aged 6 to 17 months. One adult, S, was missing. Quelle surprise, he is creating a pattern of ducking out of family gatherings.

Later we went back to the house for cake and chat. 

It was chillier when I drove Mum home. Quiet evening watching French Agatha Christie thriller. An early night I think.
