It’s always good to be home. These red Kardinal roses were horizontal from rain and getting in the way. I chopped them back and took a big bucket full to our neighbour.

I was headachy this morning. I put it down to travelling yesterday. I often feel off colour for about 24 hours after a trip. I booked the train but due to track work we were put on buses.

Had two sleeps during the day and read this book. Ann Cleeves is a great author and I like the TV adaptations such as Vera and Shetland. This is the latest Vera book.
