Snow on the fig tree

It started to snow heavily this morning and lasted for an hour or so then slowed down. It was like a blizzard (see extra)!  It's still on the ground and we're expecting more overnight and for the next couple of days. 
We were treated to a delicious lunch by my cousin and fellow blipper DoogieVanIsle and Impy. They came over to get their flu vaccine and covid booster. We met in town and had a great visit. Always so good to see them. 
No snow in town. I hope we don't get too much overnight. I have an appointment for x-rays tomorrow morning and hope to get blood work done at the same time. We're driving Bill's sister down to the ferry in the afternoon. She flies back to Toronto on Wednesday morning, and given the weather forecast, she made the decision to stay overnight in Sidney rather than having to catch the 6:15am ferry that day.
