River colour

As many have remarked, a continuation of the cold snap, although perhaps the focus of the cold weather and snow may have moved further south. Hard to get and keep warm, until I ended up leaving the heating on for a while and then finally it seemed to take the edge off it. Clearly *much* better with the curtains closed.

Not a great deal of activity, I'm afraid. We went to the supermarket, where we were gobsmacked by the amount we spent. Then down to Ocean Terminal to pick up a prescription, and I managed to get a blip along the river. It was very slippery in places, so we came back along the streets. Finally, we loaded some stuff into the car, where it can stay until I drive up at the end of the week.

We watched a few of Ben Fogle's programmes about the Scottish islands in the evening. He obviously had some fantastic weather, so the cinematography was stunning, but Mr A thought, and I rather agree with him, that the "story" being told was a bit simplistic. It did feature the Norgrove family, whom hazelh knows well. In addition to the entry on the Dangerous Women Project, there are numerous references on her blip journal and also other references to the Mangersta Bothy. I sometimes think that more or less all of human life is on blipfoto.
