Book group feast

We enjoyed a wonderful cosy candle-lit chicken thigh feast at our book group meeting this evening, hosted by ArcLight. This main course was served after delicious warming tomato and basil soup (thanks Mr A), with seasonal fruits and yoghurt (and Maltesers, and mint tea) to follow. We were three members down - one south, one west, and one very far south and west (in Argentina!) All enjoyed (or are enjoying - it's rather long) The book of form and emptiness by Ruth Ozeki.

My presentation 'at' the British Library this afternoon went OK, although I would have much preferred to have delivered it in person. It's so hard to 'connect' with an audience over Zoom, and there were a couple of technical glitches that caught me out at the start of the session.

It's very, very cold in Edinburgh at the moment <brrrr!>

Exercise today: walking (10,041 steps).
