Finding the 'extra' in the 'ordinary'

Looking at my blip tags #RiverForth is one of the most frequently used. Pretty 'ordinary' for me. The 'extra' is the ice. More today than yesterday; creaking, breaking and reforming as the river flows with the outgoing tide. Thanks to Ingeborg for the abstract suggestion. I've put in an extra to show how it looks without any messing about.

Another beautiful, but very cold, winter day. Two things cancelled - one necessary and one fun. Didn't take myself for an early appointment with the hairdresser. Won't be walking and lunching with R&S either. I don't think they mind - they've got the bug too.
