Redwings at dawn?

Or at least, Richard and I concluded that they were redwings.
We consulted the RSPB handbook, thinking that the busy little flock must be either fieldfares or redwings. The markings on the head persuaded us, enlarged on the laptop screen. But we're far from being experts in bird ID, so any corrections will be welcomed.
Silhouetted against the early morning sky, the birds were busy mopping up the last of the berries on next door's rowan tree. It's picked clean now, so I don't expect they'll be back.
