Christmas Baking

Today was up and about getting on with Christmas baking.

The story so far:-
Top left:  the sponge for trifle, fatless and GF.
Top righ: almond meringue to make a progrès cake, also GF
Bottom: white Christmas cake, made GF this time.

This is because this morning  I didn't know whether we would need GF or not, but makes easier entertaining the family should they call in.

Still to make the gingerbreads, marzipan the fruit cake and have a big tidy-up but we shopped this morning and now have a turkey and the basics for a full Christmas meal. Cue sigh of relief.
