You have mail

I recently sent off a few dozen Christmas cards and today received all these in the post. It took ages to read them all as many had newsletters attached. It’s one of my favourite parts of Christmas. Hearing from relatives and old friends. I noticed they all have different stamps on them ( no there are two the same).

The day started early when my young friends (from work) arrived at 8am for breakfast, we sat outside and it was so cool we needed jackets. Kate now lives in Bourke in the far north west of the state, so when she comes down we try and meet up. 

This afternoon we took some supplies up to our son and then went to our daughter’s place to check her hens and garden. Otherwise I didn’t do much.
