Moggy Mono

Today dawned drizzly and dreary. I planned to go for a walk to find a Blip but whilst we waited for the electrician to come and look at our dubious wiring I became engrossed in a book and the whole idea went out of my head.

We are going to need to have some work done. Of course whilst the electrician was here the electrics behaved impeccably - as the man said, "It's always the way!" - and he could not find a definite cause. He has replaced the kitchen light with a horrible dangly single bulb that the taller people in the house have to avoid heading, but if it's less likely to blast us all into orbit it is a minor problem. Our fuse box is going to need replacing as it is around 40 years old, apparently!

Minstrel had to be caged up in the front room with Grace and me whilst the work was going on. He didn't mind overly but escaped when the opportunity presented itself. Brian went and brought him back, which did not go down well, resulting in hissing and  meowing of the kind that would probably require an apology if broadcast on the BBC!

Once the Sparky had left he was given free run of the house again and went to the back room where he watched the drizzle and scouted for birds and other cats invading his territory. I decided he would have to be my Blip today to save time!
