Pebbles on the beach

Another lightly frosty start to the day, just enough to coat the car windows. We set off at 11 for the 8 mile drive northwards to Tralee Bay where we parked beside the main road at Benderloch and walked the four or five hundred yards down the track to the beach.

The sun came out and there were some beautiful cloudscapes to photograph. A few groups of people turned up, mostly dog walkers. Over to the far left can be seen Lochnell Castle, now a popular wedding venue. We amused ourselves by looking for attractive pebbles on the beach - clouds and pebbles on as extras.

We could see rain on the horizon and eventually turned back, just in time to drive home in the wet. A good refreshing wander though, always a good place for a short walk!
