She's back

Sure enough, the female blackcap returned today, and I was able to get a better shot of her than yesterday. Now I’m keeping my eyes peeled for a male blackcap too, and hopefully some coal tits as well. 

We’ve had some torrential downpours today – the aquifers should be filling up nicely – and it’s been quite windy, so the garden looks looks a bit like me on a bad hair day!
