Nine stars for Mono Monday

I took down the Christmas tree at the weekend, and have been packing the accumulated treasures of decades which I hang on it. They are a random collection, but have a few informal themes, one of which is stars of all kinds in many materials. Here are wire and metal, beads and sea glass, ceramic and wood, palm leaf, paper and painted playdough. Many were gifts. The pretty sea glass and wire star in the centre is new this year, sent by a lovely friend; the oldest star here is the blue painted salt dough one, a gift from a little boy I taught about twenty years ago.
