Another cafe closing

Snapped on the way to work. Both Loganberry, which was takeaway only, and the Silver Rooms have closed, both having been in operation for less than three years: but what three years! Their owners are moving on. It can't have been easy for them to keep going, nor to decide to stop, when they had built such good customer bases.

Where will I have coffee now? At work, maybe? I'm meeting someone on Saturday, and have decided on the Central bar and cafe. Picture may follow. Stroud isn't short of coffee shops, but I like the independents.

Went to work. Caught the bus out to Brimscombe to meet a
client. We were supposed to be meeting a rep from an agency that helps with money, but they didn't turn up. Damn! My client is vulnerable, and it was raining. We had a cup of tea, and then a worker gave us each a free lunch token, and my client was given some takeaway frozen meals to take home, so the visit wasn't a total failure. We didn't stay for lunch because it was so cold in the mill. I've kept the tokens for another day...

The rest of the day was as per usual. Got soaked on the way home this evening, in heavy rain. Turned on the colour- changing lights, essential oils and music when I got in, and had a relaxation session. Indie came along for the trip and fell asleep on me.

Now we're chilling with Netflix and How to Change your Mind, part three. Fascinating docu-series about the effect of psychedelics when used to treat people with mental illnesses and addictions. Well worth a watch.
