A Day In The Life

Dinner Bell

Somehow the first half of the day was all about Newt. She had her annual Vet visit scheduled for 9am, which went very well, but the preparations before and then the recovery afterwards takes time. All three of our fur babies freak when they see or hear the cat carrier so one must be a combo of sleuth and stealth. Thankfully there’s two of us because solo would be even more challenging. At least Newt is set for another year, but soon another victim will be chosen for the dreaded ride… • My typical routine is to put out seed early morning, and then midafternoon, right before the songbirds find shelter for the night. After sprinkling an assortment of seed under the lilacs and burning bush, I waited to see who would stop by. My shots of the chickadees were terrible but I liked this one enough to share • Peace & Love
