First rehearsal

Lovely, sunny and mild day today, extra.

Also, the day for our first rehearsal of a Hommage-show we are playing in Kalmar on the second of May. The hommage-artist in question is a Swedish singer and actor, Sven-Bertil Taube, son of Evert Taube. They are both extremely well known and loved in Sweden and we were asked to do a show in honor of S-B.

I write some of the arrangements and some we do collectively. It's wonderful to work in a group with many possibilities for variation, during the last few years I have been in charge of all the instrumental playing myself, which is fun but challenging. I've been longing for this and the rehearsal went very well.
