Mum & I went to visit Bavers a very good friend of mine in Ipplepen today, popping into Fermoy's Garden Centre on the way. I was Planteria manager there before heading off to Thailand. I made some good friends there, Bavers being one of them.
Bavers had the wood burner lit in her lovely cottage, so we sat around chatting & reminiscing over coffee & a delicious slice of lemon drizzle cake. We've had some memorable adventures together,, both share an interest in photography, art, & crafting. Bavers, Mum & I did a pastels workshop about 15 years ago, we all created wonderful pieces, Mum's still hangs in her front room. She still can't believe she created it. It's good.
We spent 4 hours together before heading off to Tesco's to do a shop on our way home. Mum really enjoyed the day out.
