Sunshine!

Golden it was too :-)

Crocus gargaricus, a form collected by a friend twenty years ago and still going strong.  The crocus flowers opened nicely in the morning sunshine out in the cold frames.  A lovely sight.

It's been a lovely day too.  Still feels like winter, a cold breeze but the light gets stronger and longer every day and there's warmth in the sun's rays ... if you're out of the wind.   I had a long morning at home, quite a bit of it spent on admin and phone calls.  I packed up five orders for achimenes and kohleria which were posted this afternoon.  Over at Jamie's this afternoon we had a visit from Katie before Jamie had a trial session with a potential new PA.  This seems to have gone very well and Jamie's only worry now is that if he likes the other candidate in the running as much, he'll have a hard job deciding.   He provided the food for us tonight which was nice.  I used the time at home to plant some of the achimenes and to wash a stack of pots ready for reuse.   A quiet night in together has been nice.
