I drove Chatterbox John to Loughborough, where our walk started from today, via Wood Thorpe, Swithland and Bradgate Park. There were twenty of us and, although it started off cold, the sun was forecast to shine all day.

I'm not very used to wearing my boots, but my feet seemed to cope quite well considering it was the longest walk I've done since last November.
